PropertyRecord.com Creating Guide To Help People Understand Public Real Estate Documents
Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 20, 2013 -- PropertyRecord.com is set to launch a guide that will explain the basic legal terms found in public real estate documents in order to help people understand the reports they are buying, the company said yesterday.
“While most of our customers appreciate our reports, some of them have contacted our customer service staff with basic questions about what some of the information in the reports means,” a PropertyRecord.com spokesman said. “While our customer service staff has no problem answering those questions, we thought it would be easier for our customers to simply have the information at their fingertips.”
The guide will be posted in the members' area of the PropertyRecord.com site, he said.
“We want to make it clear that we are not lawyers,” he said. “But we do understand the legal terminology in our reports. If we can be help make them easier for people to read, we think that adds value to the reports themselves.”
PropertyReports said they will do their best to explain the legal jargon in plain English to make it easy to understand.
“For example, a report may indicate that there was a code violation,” he said. “That can be as minor as someone not mowing the lawn, or as serious as the foundation needing to be replaced. We want people to be able to understand the difference.”
The guide will be available on the site by the end of the year, he said.
