PropertyRecord.com to Include Neighborhood Information in Their Real Estate Reports
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- PropertyRecord.com is going to begin including basic neighborhood information in their public record real estate reports, the company said yesterday.
“We believe that people should have as much information at their disposal as possible before they decide to buy a home,” a PropertyRecord.com spokesman said. “In the past, our reports have simply focused on the piece of real estate itself. But there are plenty of public records out there relating to entire neighborhoods. We are going to start including that information because we think that it will help people make more informed choices in the real estate market.”
When available, PropertyRecord.com will include information such as crime statistics, the value of nearby homes, and the ratings of the local school districts, he said.
“This information can have a huge impact on the value of a home,” he said. “For example, even if you don't have children, good schools mean a better resale value when it's time to sell your home. And having bad neighbors can make living in a new home a nightmare, so we feel that people have a need for this information.”
PropertyRecord.com will not increase the cost of their reports to reflect the additional information, he said.
“The goal here isn't to make more money,” he said. “It's to give people more value when they order our reports. We think that people will be very happy with the additional information and use it to make the most informed choice possible.”
