PropertyRecordLookup.com is installing new hardware and software in order to improve their real estate document search service, making it faster and more accurate in the new year, the company announced yesterday.
“Because people are less interested in buying real estate at the end of the year, we have the time to work on our search engine system,” a PropertyRecordLookup.com spokesman said. “We were able to took a look at what we could do and found that with major software and hardware upgrades, we could make the system faster, easier, and more accurate. So that is what we are going to do.”
Under the current system it generally takes PropertyRecordLookup about five minutes to pull up a public real estate record, he said.
“We want to reduce that to about two minutes,” he said. “We think that will be a big positive for our current and returning customers.”
Poll data from customer surveys revealed that some customers were confused about how to use the PropertyRecordLookup.com search system, and the company is improving that as well, he said.
“Some of our older customers have requested a more basic search system, so we have updated our software to make that improvement,” he said. “Finally, we discovered that sometimes when there were multiple streets with the same name in the same city there were inaccurate reports going out. Our new software system will now be able to figure out which property the customer is actually looking up, making our search service somewhat more accurate.”
