Prudential PenFed Realty Supports Military Heroes at Classic Car Show in Cecil County, Md
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) September 12, 2013 -- Prudential PenFed Realty’s Elkton office is excited to announce its 4th Annual Classic Car show on Saturday, September 21 to raise money for the PenFed Foundation’s Military Heroes Fund. Last year the event raised over $2,300 and was supported by 31 sponsors with over 80 classic and collectable cars.
Paul Wildey, managing broker of Prudential PenFed Realty’s Elkton office stated, “The PenFed Realty office plans an event each year for an organization that needs our help. This year we chose to support the individuals that have sacrificed so much for us.”
Nancy Simpers, REALTOR® with Prudential PenFed Realty’s Elkton office, is organizing the car show, which includes coordinating with all of the sponsors, car owners, advertisers, and procuring the trophies for the awards. The office staff will be participating on event day and is looking forward to showing their support for this fundraising event.
This year’s show promises classic cars, street rides, muscle cars, and all makes and models to include a 1964 Ford Mustang, 1932 Model A Ford, 1960 Chevrolet Impala, 2010 Camaro, 1938 Chevrolet Street Rod, and a 1960 Cadillac.
"The old classic cars made a great comeback within the last fifteen years and they appeal not only to those of us who are seniors; the younger generation has taken an interest as well, which is very exciting,” said Nancy Simpers.
There will be 20+ trophies awarded for various categories and winners are chosen by the sponsors with a maximum of one category win per car. The registration cost to show a vehicle is $10 per car. Some of the sponsors this year include Hillside Oil, Country Cruisers Car Club, and Nancy Simpers of Prudential PenFed Realty.
