San Francisco, California (PRWEB) November 09, 2016 -- Avid Collector, Andrew Hawley, announces his search for original 1968 Jimi Hendrix Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, Maryland concert posters. Dail Beeghley designed the poster for both the Columbia and Atlanta Hendrix shows. The Maryland concert was held on August 16. According to Hawley, "Hendrix was at the height of his career with the release of Bob Dylan's song All Along the Watchtower and the album Electric Ladyland in the summer 1968. The poster was designed by legendary and local artist Daily Beeghly. Beeghly designed many concert posters for local Washington, D.C. concerts including the Doors at the Hilton hotel in 1967 and Janis Joplin at the Alexandria Roller Rink. The Hendrix Merriweather poster was a 22 x 28 inch silkscreen and was printed on thick cardboard. It features great graphics of Hendrix and the Experience done in burning flames."
