DENVER, August 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today at 9:00 Eastern Time, PuppTech launched an Indiegogo Campaign for the award-winning PuppComm, a portable, cloud-connected monitoring device that gives dog-owners peace of mind to know their dog is always in a safe environment.

Whether your dog is at home in his crate or in the RV during a road-trip pit stop, there are going to be times when owners cannot always be at his side. With the PuppComm, real-time information is transmitted through the cloud to the user-friendly PuppTech app and alerts owners when there are any changes in the environment, such as a heating or cooling system failure, before they become a problem. PuppComm works via WiFi at home or via cellular capacity from anywhere else.
The PuppComm system consists of three parts that work seamlessly together:
The PuppComm: palm-sized device that sits next to your dog wherever they are and monitors the environment around them.
The App: cloud-connected and provides custom alerts based on your individual dog's unique characteristics including breed, weight, age, health history and more. Alerts include heat index, battery, timer, out-of-range signal, and barking.
Window Stickers: If you do need to leave your dog in the car, each PuppComm comes with a window sticker to share information about your dogs safety with the concerned passerby so they don't have to smash your windows.
Since the PuppComm isn't a wearable, it can be used to monitor an unlimited amount of dogs near the device. Other features include the ability to keep track of your dog's location via GPS while in transit as well as a built-in microphone to check in and listen for any barking reactions or whining.
PuppComm is not only the first product, but the communication core of the PuppTech ecosystem. This system will include other products that we will support with our ecosystem in the coming year.

PuppTech recently closed an angel investment round to accelerate its product development efforts. Founder William Loopesko first came up with PuppComm when he went on a weekend hike in the mountains of Southern Colorado with his dog Clovis. Upon their return home, they had to make a stop for lunch, but Clovis could not come inside. As a result, William came out every 5 minutes to check on him. When he asked a vet what he should of done, the response was leave Clovis at home for the weekend or not make any stops at all.
