“PureWash is thrilled to be able to offer the most environmentally friendly car wash in the Austin area,” said Jeff Betzing, Owner of PureWash.

PureWash - a new express-style car wash located in Dripping Springs at Highway 290 and Sawyer Ranch Road now is providing the highest quality eco-friendly car wash available in the Austin, Texas area. Its water restoration system will reuse 100% of the water captured after each wash by utilizing Aqua Bio Technologies’ first-ever closed-loop biologic water restoration system – Bio Softreat. This first-of-its-kind system uses biologically restored water to produce zero odor, spot-free rinse water without the use of ozone or chemicals.
Using Aqua Bio Technologies’ Bio Complete water restoration system, used wash water is processed with suspending solids, odor and chemicals removed from the water. It then enters the first-of-its-kind Bio Softreat system where it is treated further and goes into a reverse osmosis system to make spot free rinse water. Only the water that is needed in the spot free rinse arch passes through the Bio Softreat and reverse osmosis systems. The rest of the wash uses water directly from the Bio Complete water restoration system. This new large-volume underground water restoration system allows PureWash to provide the highest quality car wash with the lowest impact on the environment.
“PureWash is thrilled to be able to offer the most environmentally friendly car wash in the Austin area,” said Jeff Betzing, Owner of PureWash. “To complement our rain collection used for irrigation, our system from Aqua Bio Technologies uses absolutely no ozone and instead uses naturally occurring, harmless microbes which clean the used wash water as it passes through the system. This results in spot-free, zero odor rinse water resulting in the cleanest car while preserving the environment,” concluded Betzing.
“Our first-of-kind water restoration system allows PureWash to provide its customers with the cleanest water for the best wash possible while remaining truly eco-friendly,” said John P. Gibney, Vice President and General Manager of Aqua Bio Technologies, LLC. “In addition to not using ozone or any chemicals, our system cyclonically separates out suspended solids in water down to five microns – that is remarkably the approximate size of one human blood cell.”
