Qgiv, a Lakeland-based technology company providing digital fundraising tools for nonprofits, is bringing its signature Fundraising Lab event to its hometown.
Qgiv’s Fundraising Lab events are exclusively dedicated to providing nonprofits with information about fundraising best practices and fundraising technologies. The April 16th Fundraising Lab that will be hosted in Lakeland at Haus 820 is expected to draw hundreds of nonprofit professionals from all over the state of Florida. Each of the events features networking opportunities and speakers from a variety of fundraising backgrounds. Qgiv staff and guest speakers will lead seminars and workshops on innovative fundraising methods as well as tried-and-true best practices. Attendees also receive information about Qgiv’s fundraising tools, demonstrations, and updates on upcoming features and enhancements.
Jennifer Mansfield, Vice President of Customer Experience at Qgiv, says, “I am beyond thrilled to be able to offer these free events to our clients — to not only get to meet them in person, but also to invest in them as fundraisers! There is such complexity in fundraising and online giving, and I'm passionate about making it as easy as possible for our clients and ALL nonprofits to expand their ability to serve their donors by serving them!”
While past events in cities like Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and others have been successful, Qgiv is most excited about their upcoming event in Lakeland, Florida.
“The Fundraising Lab series is intended to give nonprofit fundraising staff access to tools and best practices that will make them successful,” said Qgiv CEO and Co-Founder Todd Baylis. “And, while we’re proud of the Fundraising Labs we’ve done in other parts of the country, we’re particularly excited about hosting one of these events in our own hometown.”
At the Lakeland event, attendees will hear from three-time nonprofit CEO and fundraising expert Ian Adair, who will present on how nonprofits can win donor attention and how it contributes to fundraising success. They can also expect a panel discussion from nonprofit professionals entitled, “Small Yet Mighty: Tips & Tricks for Doing More with Less,” a workshop on building fundraising appeals, and sneak peeks at upcoming Qgiv products. The all-day event will also include, breakfast, lunch, and a networking reception.
