Quality Uptime Services (Quality Uptime), is pleased to announce that John Raio, formerly the company’s Senior Vice President of Operations, has been named company President. After successfully engineering the corporate sale of Quality Uptime from DSA Encore, Ron Croce, the former CEO, has handed the reins to John. As planned, Ron is moving on to pursue new startup opportunities, now that his work transitioning management to John is complete.
John brings longstanding experience and expertise to his leadership position with the firm, which he joined in 1998. First, as Service Sales Manager with DSA Encore, former parent company to Quality Uptime, John established and grew DSA Encore’s data center service division—particularly the resale of OEM services and third-party maintenance contracts.
As the service portion of DSA Encore’s business grew, John helped successfully transition the service business into its own separate division called DSA Mission Critical Services (MCS). In this capacity, John facilitated the organic growth of the organization—from one serving only the Northeast into a trusted nationwide network of field service engineers.
In 2014, DSA MCS became wholly independent from DSA Encore, and changed its name to Quality Uptime Services. By then, the organization had built a loyal client base and nationwide reputation for its all-vendor UPS maintenance expertise, in-house factory training program and relentless pursuit of data center uptime.
