The 2014 Queen tour kicks off on June 19th in Chicago and at PreferredSeat.com they’ve seen a lot of interest in Queen tickets with Adam Lambert belting out the lead vocals that Freddie Mercury helped make famous from the 70’s until his untimely death in 1991. This is a tour for the baby boomer generation with legendary songs like “We Will Rock You” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” as well as countless others that still get extensive airplay on classic rock stations.

The last Queen tour was in 2009 with Paul Rogers on lead vocals but Adam Lambert brings a fresh voice that will bring out the younger generation as well as many of the middle aged women that followed him from city to city on his first tours. Adam Lambert has performed with Queen several times already with performances at a number of European concerts in 2012 and at the iHeartRadio Music Festival last September sparking rumors of a possible tour together.

Queen tickets went on sale through several presales this week and Friday they go on sale to the general public. Preferred Seating has secured a number of the best seats for Queen in anticipation of the high demand for tickets. Fans can expect a big production from the band that defined the stadium concert experience decades ago. The stage will feature a ramp leading out to a much smaller stage in the center of the floor to bring the band closer to the fans. The 19 city tour leaves out big markets such as Texas and Florida so there may be more Queen tour dates added later.
