Three-year Study Probes Factors That Determine Human Success
SANTIAGO, Chile (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- Author G. R. Sneberger acknowledges the fact that achieving balance in this hectic world takes more than just courage; people also need to learn the essential know-how to guide them through the most-coveted way to success. In his latest book, "Raceathlon" (published by Xlibris), Sneberger establishes the result of a three-year study he and his colleagues conducted in order to probe the factors that determine human success. After careful analysis, a general model is developed, which is explained and discussed in this book.
Sneberger uses the proverbial allegory of life as a race. His focus centered on how individuals run this race in order to achieve their goals: why do some people seem to achieve theirs in a breeze while others experience general difficulty? The study concluded on three major classifications of goal getters: the Routinaries who live on repetitive modes; the Rockstars who excel in one area but not necessarily in others; and the Runners who achieve balance through advanced planning. The study's major findings reveal that: a.) A person does not have to be number one to be successful; b.) Luck is irrelevant when mastering a tailor-made self; c.) There are three major races all undergo in life that influence most of individual balance: Personal, Professional and Public; d.) Achieving a fully balanced life is just the execution of a strategy; and e.) There is a simple method for obtaining multiple predictable results regularly. These points are laid down through different stages of focus: Family, Financial and Spiritual.
Yet, beyond any dogma or scientifically-favored recipe to success, the power of the choice remains the most basic and fundamental ingredient.
"The ultimate power you have are the choices you make," says Sneberger, "so you might as well build the right track to run your life the way it pleases you. Develop a balance track and master your own race by running at your own pace."
A comprehensive, insightful and mind-expanding read, "Raceathlon" echoes the idea that the race is not always to the fastest but to those who keep running.
