BusinessRadioX®'s High Velocity Radio Spotlights the Upcoming Spirit of Alliance Awards
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- On September 23, 2013, guest host Kevin Finn of BusinessRadioX®'s High Velocity Radio welcomed to the studio Stacey Key and Thomas Dortch to talk about the upcoming Spirit of Alliance Awards.
Stacey Key is the President and CEO of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC), the state of Georgia’s leading advocacy agency for small business development and supplier diversity. GMSDC has a rich history of certifying Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), helping them to develop capability and capacity as suppliers and vendors, and then facilitating connections with companies and municipalities who are seeking value-added contractors and business partners. According to Key, "We continue to raise the bar by implementing innovative programs that create jobs and help to stimulate economic growth across the state."
Joining Key was Thomas Dortch, President and CEO of TWD, Inc. and the 2013 recipient of the Blue Legend Award, the top individual honor at the Spirit of Alliance Awards, which recognizes an exemplary leader for a lifetime of service and commitment to supplier diversity. Dortch talked about the prestige and history of the awards gala, now in its 31st year, as well as the overarching impact of supplier diversity efforts in Georgia and around the Southeast.
The Spirit of Alliance Awards Ceremony is set to take place on September 27, 2013 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, and will be an evening of recognizing supplier diversity excellence.
