BusinessRadioX®'s Atlanta Business Radio Spotlights the HoneyBaked Ham Corporation
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- On February 27, 2014, co-hosts Lee Kantor and Stone Payton of BusinessRadioX®'s Atlanta Business Radio sat down with Tim Quinn from HoneyBaked Ham to learn more about their retail sales strategies.
Tim Quinn joined the HoneyBaked Ham Corporation in 2004 and was responsible for the sales, execution and operations of retail stores for most of the company’s territory. Since then, he has served a number of roles, including Senior Director of Franchise and Business Development, Director of Business Development, and Director of Sales. In 2011, Quinn took on the role of Vice President of Retail and Business Development.
HoneyBaked Ham started 40 years ago as a store-front in Michigan, selling baked hams. Known for its sweet glaze, the original founder invented and patented a unique machine that slices a ham in a single, continuous spiral. Today, HoneyBaked Ham has over 400 stores across the country.
What started as Quinn described as a "Ham Depot" where customers would come in, primarily around the holidays, to pick up hams, has grown to a multi-faceted business model. HoneyBaked Ham operates as a retail outlet and a quick-serve lunch cafe. Also, according to Quinn, "We have a double-digit growth catering business, and a fundraising program." Quinn added, "These all work together to create a brand presence for HoneyBaked Ham."
