On September 20, 2013, co-hosts Lee Kantor and Stone Payton of BusinessRadioX®'s Atlanta Business Radio welcomed to the studio Lydia Caffery Wilbanks with Kellen Communications to discuss current trends in public relations and her online magazine, Haute Pink.
Lydia Caffery Wilbanks is the Vice President of Business Development for Kellen Communications. Kellen provides strategic communications programs that inform audiences, directs perceptions and delivers success to its clients. Wilbanks is considered an expert in understanding and forecasting customer trends, and she has extensive experience in new business development and target market analysis.
Kellen Communications is comprised of a mix of new media specialists and traditional media professionals. According to Wilbanks, "Our talent runs the gamut from seasoned public relations strategists, former journalists and experienced brand marketers through to interactive development specialists, graphic designers and governmental affairs pros."
In addition to serving as Vice President with Kellen, Wilbanks is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Haute Pink, an online magazine and eccomerce platform devoted to fashion, beauty and food for the affluent Southern female. As an online publication, Haute Pink is distributed differently from its paper competitors. Explained Wilbanks, "We post five to six new stories a day, and we push twice a week to our subscribers." Wilbanks described Haute Pink's business model, "We are multi-revenue, so advertising is our primary source, but we also do promotions, and we help companies with their online presence."
