Chris Burnett with Midtown Bank

Our objective is to go from one community to the next, building banks that can garner local community support.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 18, 2014

Chris Burnett, Division President of Midtown Bank and Trust, joined co-hosts Stone Payton and Lee Kantor on the April 7, 2014 show of High Velocity Radio on Business RadioX® to discuss the launch of a new division, the Bank of Sandy Springs.

Midtown Bank and Trust is located in the Midtown Atlanta community. According to Burnett, it was founded upon the values of integrity, honesty, responsibility, and accountability, and is one of the strongest banks in the city of Atlanta.

“We’re opening a new division of Midtown in Sandy Springs called the Bank of Sandy Springs,” said Burnett. “We targeted this area because of the large number of community banks being closed by the FDIC. Our objective is to go from one community to the next, building banks that can garner local community support.”

Burnett has been in the banking industry for 34 years and has been the CEO of three previous community banks. Burnett is very active in the community, and understands the value of support for local businesses. He discussed in his interview how Sandy Springs is a viable business location and how it made sense for Midtown to branch out.
