RADLogics Announces Agreement to Distribute AI Algorithms on Nuance AI Marketplace for Diagnostic Imaging
At RSNA 2018 Nuance and Radlogics will demonstrate how machine learning image analysis helps boost radiologists productivity and improve quality by leveraging the Nuance AI Marketplace, to bring RADlogics Virtual-resident-powered AI content directly into the radiologist's workflow through the Nuance PowerScribe Reporting solution.
CHICAGO, Nov. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- RADLogics, the pioneer in Machine-Learning driven medical imaging analysis solutions, announced today a major global distribution agreement with Nuance—the leading provider of AI-powered radiology workflow, analytics and image sharing solutions, used by 81 percent of US radiologists according to a recent study by ReactionData, the gold standard of outcomes-based research for the global healthcare provider, payer, and life sciences industries. Through the AI Marketplace, RadLogics makes available its FDA approved clinical support algorithms, offering unparalleled access to users at scale, while enjoying continuous algorithm training across the broadest set of distributed data sources, and automated access to required registries.
At RSNA 2018, RADLogics (Booth #6361) will demonstrate its Virtual-Resident™—a clinical decision support software solution that delivers long-awaited leaps in productivity and quality for radiologists —fully integrated with the Nuance AI Marketplace and PowerScribe reporting platform.
The demonstration will show CT and X-ray imaging studies uploaded to the RADLogics Virtual-Resident system from the AI Marketplace. Findings are measured and characterized, and a preliminary report is automatically created and sent via the AI MarketPlace to be reviewed by the radiologist in their Nuance PowerScribe reporting solution when completing their report. The RADLogics Virtual-Resident supports algorithms for imaging data associated with CTs, MRIs and X-rays.
"The solution provides the computational equivalent of a medical resident who traditionally prepares preliminary findings for radiologists in academic medical centers," says Moshe Becker, CEO and co-founder, RADLogics. "Our Virtual Resident is capable of performing this function for more studies and at a higher volume of images in a fraction of the time. The solution enables radiologists to handle more images per study and more studies per day while actually improving quality of care."
