We’re thrilled and honored to be offering a means in which true horror fans can hear their own blood-curdling stories – true or not – on our podcast.
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) July 11, 2019
Ranker, the world’s leading destination for crowdsourced rankings, announced today its original podcast “Deadtime Stories” offering haunting horror stories submitted by real fans of the supernatural, creepy, and macabre. Hosted by the voice of DeadHead, a ghoulish skeleton, the free podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Google Play, Stitcher, Tune In, and more.
The “Deadtime Stories” podcast was created in part due to the appetite of our horror fans on Ranker’s Graveyard Shift and over 6 million followers on Ranker’s horror channels on Facebook - Graveyard Shift, Unspeakable Crimes and Everything Horror.
From the weird and scary, to the incredibly niche, Ranker keeps a finger on the pulse of fans by inviting listeners to submit stories, further proving Ranker’s continued dedication to exciting original content, curated by the public.
“We’re thrilled and honored to be offering a means in which true horror fans can hear their own blood-curdling stories – true or not – on our podcast,” said CEO Clark Benson. “We know a lot about this no-longer-fringe genre, so it’s about time we give fans a chance to scare the hell out of us all!”
The first four episodes are available for free right now, with subsequent episodes being released every Tuesday.
Just in 2019, Ranker has expanded its footprint with its OTT app and will also be launching a new TV recommendation app, powered by Ranker Insights.
