(PRWEB) September 06, 2013 -- RCN is currently offering complimentary access to the Tennis Channel for the entirety of the U.S. Open Championship Series to all of its cable subscribers. The free preview began Wednesday, Aug. 28th and will be available through Monday, Sept. 9th. RCN customers can enjoy all of the prime time matches offered on the Tennis Channel now through the end of the preview.

The Tennis Channel is available in both standard and high-definition from RCN. Customers can simply tune to HD channel 692 in major markets including New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC and Philadelphia. In Lehigh Valley PA, customers can tune to HD channel 1461. After the Free Preview, Tennis Channel will be available to RCN customers who subscribe to their Premiere Sports or Premiere Total Tier.
Tennis Channel will broadcast almost 240 hours of U.S. Open coverage. There also will be daily preview and highlight shows on the channel. Although the highest-profile matches in the U.S. Open can be found on CBS, all of them are rebroadcast later the same day or the next day on Tennis Channel.
