The fact that ReactorNet delivers such a robust spend management platform tailored specifically for our industry allowed us to move forward quickly and efficiently.

ReactorNet, a premier provider of SaaS-based eProcurement solutions for medium- to large-sized companies, today announced Carmike Cinemas, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKEC), one of the nation’s largest motion picture exhibitors with 276 theatres and 2,901 screens in 41 states, has selected to implement its Cinema Solutions eprocurement platform to automate procurement processes across their entire circuit.

“Having Carmike Cinemas join the Cinema Solutions family is an exciting accomplishment for us,” said Anita Watts, co-founder and vice president of Sales at ReactorNet. “Carmike is one of the great leaders in the cinema industry and to be affiliated with them greatly validates the work we’ve been doing in the cinema industry for over 14 years.”

Cinema Solutions, powered by ReactorNet’s collaborative e-procurement platform, is a SaaS-based, procure-to-pay management system designed for buyers and suppliers in the cinema industry. Cinema Solutions automates traditional procurement processes to help cinemas streamline the entire workflow purchasing cycle, from purchase to pay, to dramatically reduce maverick spend, enhance spend visibility, increase purchasing control, enforce security and compliance, and improve cost savings.

"We are already well underway with the implementation and have made great strides in streamlining the ordering, receiving, and inventory management side of our supply chain,” said Rob Lehman, vice president of Food & Beverage, Carmike Cinemas. “The fact that ReactorNet delivers such a robust spend management platform tailored specifically for our industry allowed us to move forward quickly and efficiently.”

Cinema Solutions will help Carmike establish a documented and automated purchasing process with mandated policies and internal controls to effectively improve workflow and order accuracy. Additionally, Carmike is utilizing the Cinema Solutions Inventory Management module allowing Carmike to incorporate inventory tracking into the Cinema Solutions Workflow. This integrated approach to inventory management closes the loop between purchasing, accounting, supplier systems, and point-of-sale providing a real-time insight into inventory levels and costs.

The platform’s catalog management capability will provide Carmike with pre-set catalogs alongside pre-approved suppliers and contract pricing, structured allowances based on spend categories, and recommended ordering processes. As a result Carmike will be able to manage and update the catalog process with suppliers in real-time, giving them complete control over the ordering process while keeping in compliance with corporate procurement policies and procedures.
