Real Enters Teams Space with Addition of Home Sweet MO
Missouri Team Addition Highlights Real's Value Proposition to High Producing Teams
NEW YORK, Nov. 07, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Real (joinreal.com) announced today that it has entered the real estate team space with the addition of Danielle and Jared Jordan, leaders of the Home Sweet MO (homesweetmo.com) team in Missouri.
High producing teams are now a fixture in the real estate industry. In a recent survey by of the National Association of Realtors®, 26 percent of respondents said they were members of a real estate team.
The Jordans launched team Home Sweet MO in October this year after spending over several years as renovating and flipping homes and contracting design-builds through their firm Jordan + Jordan Designs. In 2014, they earned real estate licenses to complete their service offering. They are opening Home Sweet MO with Real. They wanted to join a national real estate brokerage that offered service and technology plus the flexibility to easily brand and expand their team.
"We chose Real because it provides a great platform for letting us run our business the way we want to," Danielle Jordan said. "The reduction of liability, the online contracts, the experienced brokers and, honestly, the great splits at Real made the most sense for us."
Home Sweet MO currently is a seven-person team covering Phelps, Crawford, Dent, Maries and Pulaski counties in Missouri. Based in Rolla, home to Missouri University of Science and Technology and two hospitals, it's a strong market according to Danielle. Still, the Jordans are planning to grow the team carefully.
"We want to stay focused on quality over quantity," Jordan said.
The team will operate from a renovated office space in Rolla and run all it's operations through Real's tech-connected platform.
"It's the best of both worlds for us," Jordan says. "It's traditional around here, so we need an office. And we love that Real delivers service through a mobile app that our agents can access anytime and anywhere. All our files are online and our agents can contact the Real's Missouri broker at any time," she said.
Real President Russ Cofano says the addition of Home Sweet MO signifies a significant expansion in Real's evolution and its future growth trajectory.
"High producing teams like Home Sweet MO are major players in real estate and there is no company that has yet truly hit the sweet spot for the ultimate team offering," Cofano said. "We believe that the Real platform will not only enable teams to operate more cost effectively, we will help them increase top line revenue so that profit growth is maximized."
According to Jordan, the local market has an average home price of $150,00 and strong demand from local professors, students and medical professionals. In just a few weeks since launching, the team has 20 listing presentations and 6 under contract already.
"We're not a wealthy market, but we're a strong market. We stay plenty busy," Jordan said.
Jordan believes that Real's online and support will help provide an advantage to the team's agents. In addition, Real's mission to focus on agents success stood out to her compared to other technology-based brokerages the Jordans considered.
"We want to be as warm and welcoming as possible and to focus on serving the client first and felt that Real shared the same motive," Jordan says.
