“Escape from AT&T Park” Live Event Invites Players to the Field in January 2016
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 24, 2015 -- This escape game event is a major league homecoming for SCRAP, creators of the live escape genre, having run their popular Attack on Titan tie-in game in AT&T Park early this year as the first stop on a nationwide tour. A staggering 5,000 players came that day, a number that SCRAP plans to exceed with this all-new offering. This time around, the game will be built specifically around AT&T Park and its history, acting as a thank you note to long-time fans.
“SCRAP started the first escape room in the US right here in San Francisco three years ago, and this game is designed to be a special event for the many thousands of people who have supported us along the way,” said Doc Preuss, Real Escape Game producer. “For newcomers, this will be their first chance to actually go onto the field of an iconic, local landmark like AT&T Park, and it’s a great introduction to the kinds of puzzle game experiences that we build for our players.”
Established in Japan in 2007, SCRAP Corp. debuted the Real Escape Game concept in Kyoto and followed up with the first permanent Real Escape Room in 2010. Since then, over one million people have participated in games run by SCRAP and its partners throughout Japan, China, Singapore, France, Spain, Canada and the United States. Currently, US branch SCRAP Entertainment Inc runs two Real Escape Rooms in San Francisco year-round along with several limited time only engagements in special venues throughout the country. Their Los Angeles branch recently opened its first room, Escape from the Time Travel Lab, in Little Tokyo on November 21st.
