The median sales price for attached homes decreased by 13.3%, going from $135,000 in October 2012 to $117,000 in October 2013, and the median sales price for detached homes rose by more than 28.8%, rising from $345,000 in October 2012 to $444,500 in October 2013. There were mixed results for the number of closed sale in Barrington for attached and detached homes. The number of closed sales for attached homes remained from 5 closed sales in October 2012 to 5 closed sales in October 2013, whereas the number of closed sales for detached homes dropped from 26 closed sales in October 2012 to 18 closed sales in October 2013.
The real estate in Illinois review also showed a decrease in the number of attached and detached homes for sale in Barrington. The number of attached homes for sale fell from 21 homes in October 2012 to 15 homes in October 2013, and the number of detached homes for sale dropped from 134 homes in October 2012 to 115 homes in October 2013. The number of new listings review also showed a decrease in the number of attached and detached homes for sale in this community. The number of new listings for attached homes dropped from 6 new listings in October 2012 to 4 new listings in October 2013, the number of new listings for detached homes rose from 28 new listings in October 2012 to 27 new listings in October 2013.
There were mixed results for the month’s supply of inventory for Barrington property for attached and detached homes The month’s supply of inventory for attached homes dropped from a 21-month supply in October 2012 to a 15 -month supply in October 2013, and the month’s supply of inventory for detached homes fell from a 134 -month supply of inventory to a 115 -month supply of inventory. The review also showed a decrease in the market time for both attached and detached homes in this community. The number of days attached homes remained on the market fell from 222 days in October 2012 to 72 days in October 2013, while the number of days detached homes stayed on the market fell from 153 days in October 2012 to 98 days in October 2013.
