RecordAccount.com Starting Review of Security Procedures
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 03, 2014 -- RecordAccount.com is launching a full-scale review of their system security procedures to see if they can be improved in 2014, the company announced yesterday.
“We have always believed that the privacy of our customers and the security of their data is of primary importance,” a RecordAccount.com spokesman said. “While we are proud of the security protocols we currently have in place, we think that the start of the year is a good time to review them and see if they can be improved.”
RecordAccount.com said that data security has become one of the top concerns they hear about from their customers in the wake of the NSA spying scandal.
“Many people who had not even considered data security as an issue a year ago are deeply concerned about it today,” he said. “This has pushed us to make this review a reality. We will be looking at all sections of our system to see where, if anywhere, things can be made more secure. At the moment that is job one for RecordAccount.com.”
Part of the review will be evaluating new data security systems that have come on the market in the past year, he said.
“Many companies are promising software they claim can increase security levels,” he said. “But we need to test and review those claims before we can make a decision. We don't want to rush into things and create software updates that could actually compromise security.”
