Missoula Public Library Launches Digital Magazine Service
Missoula, MT (PRWEB) October 08, 2013 -- Patrons of Missoula Public Library now have unlimited simultaneous access to complete digital magazines through Zinio, a digital magazine service. The library’s new magazine database allows patrons to view digital magazines easily on most Internet-enabled devices both inside and outside the library.
“With some publications changing to wholly digital format, the library sought a solution to disappearing print magazines, and found Zinio,” said Lyndy Bartlett, Serials Librarian. “If you can download an app onto your device, you can use Zinio. And with simultaneous access, any number of people can view the digital content at the same time.”
Zinio’s unique technology digitally recreates a magazine page for page, including full color pictures, intuitive navigation, key word article search and interactive elements such as audio and video. Consumer Reports, National Geographic, Backpacker, Android, and O, The Oprah Magazine are just a few of the popular titles available. Check the website, (MissoulaPublicLibrary.org), call (721-BOOK) or visit Missoula Public Library for details.
