The Recovery Place Addiction Treatment Center Welcomes New Executive Director
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) February 17, 2015 -- The Recovery Place addiction treatment center in Florida is proud to welcome Diane Funston as executive director. Funston earned a bachelor’s degree in human services/healthcare management and a master’s degree in management from Lesley College, School of Management in Cambridge, Mass. She is a registered nurse and a licensed healthcare risk manager, is board-certified in healthcare management through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and is also a Fellow of the ACHE.
Funston’s 30 years of experience in healthcare include nursing, management and senior executive-level positions, with the bulk of her work taking place in a variety of addiction and mental health treatment settings. She has over 20 years of mental healthcare experience in executive and senior leadership positions, including a senior executive position for a large, multi-hospital system heading up their behavioral healthcare services, and a chief executive position in a large inpatient behavioral health facility.
