Your World Insurance Services Continues Monthly Community Cause Events to Fundraise for Charitable Organizations in the Southern California Inland Empire
Redlands, CA (PRWEB) September 26, 2017 -- Your World Insurance Services, a long-time Redlands insurance and financial services firm, gained a new agent in February 2017 and began fulfilling a life-long wish of owner Stacy Boyle to give back to the many charitable organizations that help families in surrounding communities. “I was a recipient of help when I was in high school,” said Ms. Boyle. “My father passed away without life insurance, and my mother, two younger sisters and I were barely getting by. I will be forever grateful to the organizations that gave us the boost we needed, and which also helped me get the grants and loans I needed to go to college.”
Previous charities supported and funds raised by the agency include June – Helping Hands Pantry, $5,000; July – Redlands Police Officers Foundation, $250; and August – Micah House After School Programs, $1,000.
In September, Your World Insurance Services supported the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House Classic Car Event at the Loma Linda house. Classic cars and their owners came together Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, to fund housing for the families of critically ill children at Loma Linda Hospital. Your World Insurance Services was one of a dozen booths on-hand to cater to the event attendees. Booth visitors had the opportunity to win prizes and learn more about Classic Car insurance, as well as contribute to fundraising for the IERMHC.
“In 2016, additions to the Ronald McDonald house were made that allows the house to now host 54 families every night! Last year the house helped 982 families, with the help of over 7,000 volunteer hours,” said executive director Mike Kovack. Loma Linda University Medical Center is world-renowned, and people travel from around the globe for care, especially for cancer treatment and the care of prematurely born babies.
As one of the agency’s Community Cause partners, the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House also qualified for a $1,000 project grant. It was a fun day for a very worthy cause, and Your World Insurance Services plans on participating again at the annual event.
Upcoming for the month of October is the agency’s support of the Purple Purse Foundation, with the goal of raising $5000! The Purple Purse Foundation is aimed at creating long-term safety and security for survivors of domestic abuse through financial empowerment - making the invisible visible. Since 2005, the Foundation has been working to bring financial abuse out of the shadows so victims can get the healing and support they deserve. The program ignites fundraising for hundreds of organizations, and Your World Insurance Services will be supporting the House of Ruth in Claremont. Funds raised will go toward life-changing financial empowerment services to help domestic violence survivors build safer lives for themselves and their families.
