RENO, Nev., May 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Rehearsal Announces Large-Scale Redesign, Introduces 'Channels' Functionality
Updates improve speed, scale, and reliability for high-impact professional training
Today Rehearsal, the provider of best-in-class video-based practice software and services, announced the first major UX upgrades to its application since launching in 2015: the introduction of Channels, a new platform feature promoting organized and cohesive collaboration among users. The updates provide customers with a streamlined and intuitive user experience designed to improve employee training and performance.
"The redesign gives Rehearsal users a modern, responsive, and faster experience across all devices for quick and easy access to tools and feedback," said Darik Volpa, founder and CEO of Rehearsal. "It's our goal to create better subject matter experts through collaboration and content. With the introduction of Channels, we're promoting organic interactions that increase performance and outcomes. Teams and leaders can align messaging standards, increase knowledge-sharing, and offer advice in an open setting for all to engage with."
Previously Rehearsal was strictly assignment-based, meaning users would log in to complete assignments and exit. The Channels feature is revolutionary in that it promotes peer-to-peer interaction in a social setting easily organized by topic. Channels allows users to post, like, and comment on each other's videos. Benefits include improved knowledge retention, increased connectivity between employees and leadership, as well as an accurate understanding of customers' brands.
"Overhauling the application was an immense undertaking for the entire team," said Joseph Szakara, Director of Product Design. "Their unrelenting focus on quality and usability has resulted in a rock-solid platform that greatly improves the customer experience while being easier to maintain and develop."
In addition to Channels, key additions include an Assignments Page that features real-time updates on learning progress and assignment status. The Leaderboard feature now includes a faster, more improved video-player experience. In addition to front-end enhancements, the back-end infrastructure has been updated for optimal platform performance.
Bobby D'Agnillo, Manager of Sales Enablement and Training at Vertiv stated, "We have a large number of sales people across independently owned offices. We are using Rehearsal and Channels to bring those sellers together within a collaborative community. They can post videos of successes or challenges and receive feedback from other members. This peer-to-peer learning is the real beauty of Rehearsal and Channels. Additionally, our corporate members can post videos pertaining to product messaging and market updates. Channels enables two-way communication between field sales and Product Management and/or Marketing."
