PCBC Gold Nugget Honors Awarded to Multifamily Renovation Leader REIG Construction
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 23, 2016 -- Judges for the 2016 Gold Nugget Awards have named REIG Construction as an Award of Merit winner in their annual competition, which honors architectural design and planning excellence and draws entries from throughout the United States and internationally. REIG Construction, a Southern California firm specializing in the ownership, management, and repair of multifamily and residential real estate, earned its Merit honors for Operation Renovation, which was honored for the Building Industry Community Spirit Award.
Chosen from the elite pool of Merit Award winners, the Grand Award winners will be announced on June 23 as a feature highlight of PCBC®, the nation’s largest regional conference and trade show for the real estate development field.
Located in Spring Valley, CA, “Operation Renovation: Giving Back to Hometown Heroes,” involved REIG Construction, Wounded Warrior Homes, and several other gracious and generous sponsors teaming up to give back to our "Hometown Heroes" by donating a full home renovation to a military family in need. Barry Barton, active duty in the Navy, applied for Operation Renovation as the family’s home was in need of major adaptations for their five-year-old son, Christopher, who suffers with congenital Cytomegalovirus and requires 24-hour care. Some of the renovations included new hard flooring for easier transport, a modified walk-in shower, a patio awning in the backyard to provide shade for Christopher, and much more.
This project speaks to the heart of REIG Construction’s mission. They are committed to helping people get the home they want and need across Southern California, and they seek to use their success in multifamily and residential real estate to revitalize the communities in which they invest. REIG believes in creating strong ties with Southern California and understands that having a roof over your head brings dignity and power to those who need it most.
“Gold Nugget Award winners reflect our industry’s best, brightest, and most innovative architects, planners, and builder/developers,” said Judging Chairman and Gold Nugget ceremonies administrator Lisa Parrish. “We applaud them all, and we look forward to our June 23 celebration of Merit and Grand Award winners.”
