The Association of Progressive Rental Organizations annual conference in Indianapolis will showcase the affordable home lifestyle website in their 'store of the future' and for their conference speakers.

Research shows the Internet has taken over as the most used tool for shopping.

The Association of Progressive Rental Organizations (APRO) will promote ShopRTO at their May 19-22 annual conference and trade show in Indianapolis, IN. The rent to own industry created the affordable home living website to promote rent to own to a broader customer base and message how rent to own helps people's lives.

ShopRTO will be promoted throughout the conference as one of the conference sponsors and included in the rent to own "Store of the Future" on the trade show floor in the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors center. The ShopRTO web campaign is the industry's modern version of the milk industry's "Got Milk" campaign.

APRO research found that 149 out of 150 potential customers use the Internet when shopping for home furnishings. While traditional advertising through TV and print are still effective for consumers, research showed the internet has taken over as the most used research and shopping tool.

APRO leaders launched ShopRTO last year to start their long term goal of establishing rent to own as a home living option through the affordable home lifestyle website. ShopRTO will feature articles on home decorating tips, home furnishing reviews, updates and personal finance. And how and if rent to own can fit in one's home lifestyle.

The APRO conference will also feature ShopRTO as part of their retail "Store of the Future" that will be built on the trade show floor. The "Store of the Future" and ShopRTO represent the future in marketing and showroom design.

ShopRTO will address the continued dominance of the Internet that shapes consumers opinions and shopping choices. APRO's "Store of the Future" will address how retail stores must create a heightened customer experience to entice customers to shop in the store.

The May conference plans to emphasize the exponential change happening in the retail market and how rent to own stores must keep up with the changes.
