"The Place Where We Live It's the Kingdom of God" from Christian Faith Publishing author Rev. Harvey Deater, is an illuminating read about the biblical events that showed us God's way of saving His children; bringing Jesus to the world with the mission of being the Savior.
MEADVILLE, Pa., April 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "The Place Where We Live It's the Kingdom of God": a detailed understanding on the Bible around the events of Jesus' ascension, His role as the Savior, and the Kingdom He prepared for us. "The Place Where We Live, It's the Kingdom of God" is the creation of author Rev. Harvey Deater, a graduate from Concordia Lutheran Seminary, who served three congregations during his time as a Lutheran pastor. Differences over theological issues severed that relationship. He has served two independent congregations since. At present, he has retired from active ministry, but not retired from writing. He has written seven other unpublished books.
Rev. Deater shares, "The kingdom of God is not of this world. The definition of faith tells us the same thing. 'Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of things not seen' (Hebrews 11:1). Just prior to His ascension, we find that Jesus gave 'instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen and spoke about the Kingdom of God' (Acts 1:2–3). Thus, why should we be preaching about worldly problems and situations when we know that God has already overcome the world? If this is true, and it is, there is nothing left for us to overcome. The overcoming factor belongs to the worldly. We, as souls saved, have been 'Returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls' (1 Peter 2:25). 'Christ Jesus has become for us wisdom from God, that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption' (1 Colossians 1:30)."
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Rev. Harvey Deater's new book is a relevant tackling of biblical teachings and insights that will illuminate a Christian's heart. This book is for people who needs to hear the message that God, though He has long ascended in heaven, remains within us.
