ROI (http://roi.me/), a strategy consulting firm based in Seattle, Washington and Pheonix, Arizona, announces the acquisition of ReverseMergers.com. The website, which was previously owned by industry professionals has been a live site for years, but ROI acquired the site as part of the company’s strategic initiative to drive demand for its going public services, including utilizing corporate shells and PIPEs for taking private companies public.
“We wanted to roll the site into our network of sites as the site directly advocates the services our team has been providing for over 25 years,” says ROI President Nate Nead. “Our Principals and Managing Directors have taken over 100 companies public and we’re looking for companies to roll into a number of clean public corporate shells."
The company also sees several factors as a boon for an increase in the number of strategic reverse mergers which will occur in the coming years. First, the markets are at an all-time high, boosting demand for public offerings and capital raising. Second, drastic changes in things like crowdfunding are fueling demand for public company offerings and investing. Third, taking companies public with reverse mergers has less of a stigma than it did in times past. Typical reverse merger candidates are vetted by the company’s strategic partners including seasoned attorneys, CPAs and MBAs.
“We recognize there is always a great need for companies to have access to capital to facilitate growth,” says Nead. “Having access to the public capital markets through the OTC and other exchanges helps to fill the gap in funding for privately held companies.”
In addition, the company works with both PIPE investors and creators of Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) to aid and assist in taking companies to market safely, cheaply and more quickly. “We’re hoping this latest acquisition will help boost our company’s growth both now and into the future,” says Nead.
