Audrey Michel Shares Story of Healing From Decades of Chronic Pain, Illness
Denver, CO (PRWEB) April 22, 2016 -- A memoir of Audrey Michel’s two decade struggle to heal from chronic pain and disease, “Rewired Life: a journey to untangle chronic pain and endometriosis” (published by Balboa Press) is an exploration of how past life events affect the current moment and what one can do to overcome such obstacles.
“As I healed from chronic pain and an incurable disease, it became obvious that no one was talking about pain or endometriosis in terms of alternative healing,” Michel explains. “I felt very strongly that the conversation needed to shift towards ‘what’s possible.’”
Michel shares learning how the emotional body and physical body work together, and how trauma to the emotional self can manifest in the physical body. She also shares how her acupuncturist, chiropractor and kinesiologist played vital roles in her healing.
A firsthand look at overcoming pain and endometriosis, “Rewired Life” offers inspiration and motivation to help others overcome obstacles and define their paths to loving themselves, healing their bodies and minds, and celebrating life.
“I want readers to be empowered to heal,” Michel says. “I want readers to WANT to take a look at their life, and its events. I want readers to feel inspired to grow. I believe much of adult learning is unlearning what we picked up as children, and relearn what is important to us now.”
