Richard Ohnmacht Joins Woodsboro Bank as a Sr. Vice Present, Chief Lending Officer

FREDERICK, Md., July 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Woodsboro Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Richard "Rich" Ohnmacht to our team as a Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer. In this role Rich will lead our commercial banking and business development functions.
Rich has over 28 years experience in the financial industry. Over the course of his career, he's worked in various roles as he progressed in commercial banking with F&M Bank, Mercantile/Citizens National Bank, PNC, and Bay Banks. In these roles, Rich has held positions including commercial real estate division head and Market President. Joining Woodsboro, Rich comes back to Frederick County where he lived and worked for many years.
Rich received his undergraduate degree in Economics from The College of William and Mary, a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Tennessee, and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has held board positions in a variety of not-for-profit community organizations in Frederick and Howard Counties. Currently, Rich is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University.
The addition of Rich to our commercial banking group follows the bank's strategic emphasis on expanding our commercial banking focus and capabilities. His banking expertise, knowledge of the Central Maryland, and community banking experience are key qualities he brings to the bank.
Rich is happy to return to the Frederick community where he started his banking career. His office will be at Woodsboro Bank's Commercial Office at 8 E. Second Street in Downtown Frederick.
