Adventures of a World Traveler Captured in Richard Coulson’s New Book
NASSAU, Bahamas (PRWEB) July 17, 2014 -- Author Richard Coulson’s vibrant life is artfully rendered in his new memoir, “A Corkscrew Life: Adventures of a Travelling Financier” (published by iUniverse).
“A Corkscrew Life” begins with Coulson’s birth and early life in the Bahamas with his exceptional mother and his eventual move to the U.S. He attended an Ivy League college and then served the U.S. Army in Korea. After returning from military service, Coulson attended law school and began his career in corporate law.
Coulson’s jobs as a New York lawyer and London investment banker allowed him to travel around the world, meeting new and exciting people. His book details the projects he worked on in Latin America, Europe and the Far East as well as the contracts he upheld in Iran, Iraq, Malaysia and Switzerland.
Throughout his travels, Coulson crosses paths with striking characters such as William F. Buckley, Prince Nikita Lobanov of Russia and star attorney Norbert Schlei.
Candid and engaging, “A Corkscrew Life” reveals the biggest joys and disappointments of Coulson’s long life. His reflections on family, love and death are interspersed throughout the memoir.
