Tribble Insurance Agency Inaugurates New Charity Campaign in Richmond, VA to Raise Funds for ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) April 15, 2016 -- Tribble Insurance Agency celebrates the beginning of the latest charity campaign in their ongoing community enrichment program, which serves the families of the greater Richmond, VA metro area. ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation provides a wide range of services in support of families battling childhood cancer. Donations to this valuable community resource are now being accepted here.
Between 1 and 2 children are diagnosed with cancer every week in central Virginia. ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation was founded in 1975 by a group of concerned parents who wished to reach out and support others receiving that dreaded diagnosis. Their patient programs are based in the ASK Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, with their staff working alongside the medical staff to make sure ASK kids and their families receive the support they need from the very moment they hear the words, “Your child has cancer.” Providing kindness, support and financial assistance, ASK strives to help patients and their families throughout their treatment and beyond.
