Created by Terry and Tina Shorter, the home workout lasts for just 48 minutes but lets viewers burn over 700 calories. Terry and Tina Shorter formulated the unique and effective workout as well as composing all of the original music for the home workout DVD – a unique and innovative approach to home fitness.

Viewers can learn about the importance of each of these principles in a special segment covering vital concepts such as safe workout form and smart dieting techniques.
Unlike other DVD workout programs, which are designed using just a few predictable motions, the R.I.P.P.E.D. system changes every six to nine minutes to stimulate different muscular groups and engage viewers in both aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Viewers can firm up and tone their abs, sculpt their upper body, and improve their endurance in one home workout.
The founders of R.I.P.P.E.D. – Terry and Tina Shorter – have a combined 25 years of experience in the fitness community. Both are certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Their training material and classes are franchised to over 8,000 trainers and other fitness professionals throughout the United States.
The fitness training is divided into seven easy-to-follow sections to deliver the ideal workout to viewers:
