Characterised by Boulder Creek's highly distinctive “Dual Port System” design, Riptide ukuleles stand out in the crowded uke market.

All the Riptide ukulele models feature the exclusive “Dual Port System” which projects the sound to both the audience and the player simultaneously, allowing the player greater control over the tone and volume that the listener is hearing.

Die cast tuning machines and perfect fret levelling make them stay in tune and play easier than ukes costing much more.
There are three ranges of Riptide ukuleles available from Banjos Direct.
The Standard Mahogany Series models feature mahogany tops, backs, and sides for the traditional ukulele look and tonal characteristics. For those players that want to amplify their uke, the EUC-5NS Concert model comes with the Boulder Creek UK-300T preamp and pickup system with built-in tuner.
The Deluxe Mahogany Series is designed for the most discriminating players. All models feature Mahogany backs, sides, and tops. The model EUC-5NG features a solid mahogany top for even more tone and sustain. All Deluxe Mahogany Series models are equipped with the UK-300T preamp system with built-in tuner (except model UC-5BC).
Finally, The Spruce & Rosewood Series feature solid spruce tops for the ultimate in tone, volume, and sustain. The backs and sides are made of rosewood. All Acoustic Electric versions also feature the Boulder Creek UK-300T preamp and pickup system with built-in tuner.
All Spruce & Rosewood models also feature abalone binding around the body and both soundports. The finish and detail work on these fine instruments is second to none.
