The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) will be holding its 116th Annual Convention this October, and will be featuring a variety of activities and lectures, including continuing education programs, a trade show exposition, and a preliminary program for young students and pharmacists looking to advance their careers.

The convention will be taking place on Saturday, October 18 - Wednesday, October 22, and it will be held in the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX. Attendees are encouraged to register before the event, but non-registered guests are also welcome to attend with a fee of $100 paid on-site. Registration will take place in the lobby from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 18-20 and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 21, and attendees will receive a name badge at the registration desks, which will permit them to attend the events.

As a national provider of pharmacy point-of-sale (POS) systems for independent pharmacies, Retail Management Solutions has attended the Annual Convention regularly for many years. They are proud to say that they will be joining hundreds of pharmaceutical industry experts again this year and will be participating as sponsors of NCPA. The convention mostly caters to independent pharmacy owners, and the trade exhibit features a variety of companies who provide exceptional products and services that have been developed specifically for small to medium pharmacies. Attendees can find Retail Management Solutions representatives at booth #203 in the trade exhibit.

Mike Gross, the VP of Sales and Marketing at Retail Management Solutions, states that he will be attending the convention along with two other co-workers, and all three employees are very excited to represent Retail Management Solutions at such an important event.

"This convention helps us engage with our customer base," Gross says. "We have a lot of customers -- mostly Mom-and-Pop pharmacies -- that attend this event to see new products to network with others, and to visit with familiar vendors."

All attendees -- current customers and potential customers alike -- are welcome to stop by and chat with the Retail Management Solutions representatives. Gross states, "We will be discussing customer needs, to see if we're a good fit for each pharmacy, talking about our POS solutions, and maintaining good relationships with our current customers."

About Retail Management Solutions

Retail Management Solutions is the industry leader in pharmacy point of sale technology for retail and outpatient pharmacies. Having installed more POS systems in the independent and outpatient pharmacies than any other company, RMS has become the industry standard.

RMS is proud to be the only point-of-sale provider in the nation that focuses strictly on the pharmacy market. Because of this singular focus, and the fact that the owner and CEO grew up working in his father’s pharmacy, RMS continues to develop pharmacy pos software and hardware capabilities for pharmacies only. RMS was the first to market with electronic signature capture for HIPAA signature compliance, and was the first to market with a fully capable, mobile point-of-sale device, EvolutionPOS, for the pharmacy market. These are just a few examples of how RMS will continue this dedication to improving pharmacy efficiency, growth, and profitability. Everything RMS does can be measured by their mission statement, "Making our clients the most profitable and customer-centric in the industry." For more information, visit http://rm-solutions.com
