Robinson+Cole Welcomes Partner from Bingham McCutchen
Hartford, CT (PRWEB) December 19, 2014 -- Robinson+Cole welcomes Stuart D. Rosen to its Insurance + Reinsurance and Business Litigation Groups as a partner resident in the firm’s Hartford office. Mr. Rosen joins the firm from Bingham McCutchen LLP, where he led the Hartford litigation team.
Mr. Rosen represents insurance companies, corporations, banks, investment management companies, and real estate owners and developers in complex commercial litigation, including insurance and reinsurance, contract disputes, business torts, unfair trade practices, and trade secrets. His insurance litigation experience includes mass torts, environmental pollution, silica and asbestos, advertising injury, construction defects, property damage, directors and officers (D&O) and errors and omissions (E&O) coverage, and reinsurance involving environmental, asbestos, and professional liability claims.

Mr. Rosen also has extensive alternate dispute resolution experience. He has served as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association for over 20 years and was appointed to the Large Complex Case Panel. He is also a commercial arbitrator for the American Dispute Resolution Center. Mr. Rosen is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he teaches insurance litigation and arbitration.
Mr. Rosen earned his J.D. from Columbus School of Law, The Catholic University of America, where he was an editor of the law review, and his B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York.
