Rock Star Teacher Camp Tour Dates Announced for 2014
Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) January 08, 2014 -- Computer-Using Educators (CUE) Inc. is seeking energized, motivated, and innovative teachers to attend CUE’s Rock Star Teacher Camps, which will be held in Spring and Summer 2014. Space is limited, and only 500 registrants will be able to attend the events, now in their fourth year.
CUE’s Rock Star Teacher Camps consist of hands-on, “make-it, take-it” sessions taught by the award-winning CUE Rock Star faculty, many of whom are Apple Distinguished Educators, Google Certified Teachers and Microsoft Innovative Educators. The goal of the camps is to inspire educators who want to take their instruction to the next level through the latest and greatest technological tools, theories, and practical applications. Each camp is kept to a limited number of enrollees to maintain the 1:10 faculty to participant ratio, and the camps are designed for those with intermediate to advanced technical skills. In addition to the four Spring and Summer camps, CUE is offering one “I just can’t wait!” Valentine’s Weekend camp in Napa Valley, February 14-16, 2014.
Jon Corippo, “instigator” of the idea, explains their draw: “CUE’s Rock Star Teacher Camps were built on the idea that the most passionate and connected educators should be connected and creative together.” Instead of being “that one crazy teacher who is a game-changer and innovator, we wanted to create an experience that would be specifically for folks who were leaders at their schools to meet, connect and do hands-on practice in small group settings.”
