Seasoned financial advisor Rolf Eliason draws upon his wealth of experience to publish his new personal finance book, titled "The Lake of Two Rivers." Eliason’s book is all about the balance of life and wealth. He believes money does not buy happiness, but a lack thereof certainly can bring a great deal of angst. Hence, he publishes a book centered on plain, simple truths extracted from life experience and designed to arouse curiosity surrounding people’s own possibilities concerning wealth.

Wealth is accumulated in one simple equation, the most fundamental equation of personal finance: living within your means. Other factors enter in to one’s financial destination, but personal finance is not as complicated as some make it out to be. Wealth is accumulated through net savings, period. Life is a balance of many kinds of human needs, and one would do well to consider all those needs before putting one’s feet up in retirement.

With the recent global financial crisis, more and more people today are anxious about their personal finance, stemming from a lack of understanding of how wealth works. Some of the best lessons ever learned are through example and mentorship. Eliason has had the fortune of having that kind of mentorship, and he has a keen desire to pass on those plain simple truths that have bid so well for him.

To pass on those truths, Eliason employs several life stories in the book. He wrote a parable in chapter two of a fictional character Ozzie Causey, who learned quickly the relationship between wealth, income and life expenses. As it happens, the story of Ozzie mirrored his own experience. The other main character in the story, the Wizard of Cause is a mirror reflection of his late father-in-law, William Hopkins.

An excerpt from "The Lake of Two Rivers" about the character Ozzie Causey’s declaration of life philosophy:

"He recognized his real source of joy was family, being the best at what he purposed to do, leaving footprints in the sand, teaching his buddies how to generate enough income to meet their needs, enjoying the trip called life, and preparing for when the Big Guy eventually calls."

With its empowering take on practical and relevant things like personal bankruptcy, financial freedom, lifestyle expenses, credit card and household debts, "The Lake of Two Rivers" is a book that could change readers’ financial paradigms and help them reach their financial goals. It does this with stories and with ease, without presenting complicated investment schemes, bringing out simple financial truths and their benefits.
