The Misty Everette Agency Announces Charity Drive to Raise Awareness and Funding for the Ronald McDonald House was a Success
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) October 05, 2015 -- The Misty Everette Agency, a family-owned insurance firm with offices that serve Scottsdale and other communities in and around Phoenix, recently launched a charity drive to attract donations and advocate for the local Phoenix chapter of the Ronald McDonald House.
For over four decades, Ronald McDonald House has been building and maintaining a network of home-away-from-home facilities for the families of children who are receiving life-saving medical care at nearby hospitals and medical centers. These facilities give parents who might not otherwise have the means to stay close by when their children need them most.
Reports from Ronald McDonald show that keeping families together during periods of critical care enhance the healing and recovery time of children receiving treatment. Last year alone, more than 5 million families around the world were able to stay close to their hospitalized child thanks to the efforts of the Ronald McDonald House.
