River Runners Announces Discounts On Whitewater Rafting Trips Through the Royal Gorge

The recommended age limit at the current flow is 14 years old and each participant should be able to swim, Hochard explained.
“Whitewater rafting trips through the Royal Gorge are all guided by a professional guide with at least 1,000 miles of commercial river experience,” Hochard said. “Most of our guides have for more experience than the minimum and they love what they do, which is show people a good time.”
Colorado is experiencing an above average water year after record snow this past winter, explained Jon Treleani, head boatman, River Runners.
“The quality of whitewater found in the Royal Gorge right now is what has made this place famous,” Treleani said. “This is the year to come see what rafting in Colorado is all about.”
River Runners operates out of two locations on the Arkansas River in Colorado: Buena Vista and Cañon City. You can choose from beginner, intermediate and advanced whitewater on half-day, full-day and overnight rafting trips.
