New Walk-In Center Opens at Richmond University Medical Center
STATEN ISLAND, NY. (PRWEB) July 01, 2016 -- The Richmond University Medical Center announced the opening of its new primary care and walk-in center located at 1058 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, N.Y., 10310. The grand opening was celebrated with a ribbon cutting on Friday, May 20, 2016.
The new facility, which is open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., has three physicians on staff, Dr. William Tursi, Dr. Peter Stathopoulos and Dr. Subbaraju Polepalli, as well as a nurse practitioner on staff. Additionally, unlike other walk-in facilities, Richmond University’s new center allows patients to schedule an appointment with one of the staff physicians.
The center offers emergency room care to patients suffering from minor to mid-range illnesses and injuries as well as pain management, and has the capability to perform blood tests and x-rays onsite. The new center is the seventh ambulatory care facility opened by Richmond University Medical Center.
