Ryan Shephard to Release Blog Website on Workout Injuries
Individuals who have suffered workout-related injuries can soon find helpful information about how to deal with them through a new website by Ryan Shephard.
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Individuals who have suffered injuries in the gym -- or those worried about suffering sport-related injuries -- will soon be able to take advantage of a new blog website by industry aficionado Ryan Shephard, who will share tips about recovering from injuries.
A closed beta just ended for the new blog site, which can be found at http://www.ryanshephardrehab.com/. Open beta testing is now taking place, and if everything goes as expected, readers can visit version 1.0 of the website starting on Nov. 1.
According to Shephard, just going to the gym is a milestone for many people. However, people oftentimes don't think about what would happen if they became injured from working out. This is what motivated him to create his blog website, which is aimed at helping readers to effectively address exercise-related injuries.
Shepard, a University of Michigan student, is currently studying to be a trainer and to help people to recover from their injuries. As a result, he constantly receives questions about injuries, and he ends up providing answers he had always thought were common knowledge. Therefore, he plans to provide very basic knowledge about recovering from injuries on his new website.
According to Shephard, rehabilitation is a process that an injured person should go through immediately after seeing a specialist following an injury. In addition, this process should not come to an end until the person has experienced a full recovery. Shephard regularly emphasizes that the whole point of rehabilitation is to help an injured person to return to leading an active lifestyle again.
Of course, not every injury is the same. As a result, injuries' severity and patients' recovery times can vary from one person to the next. After all, some body parts heal more quickly than others do, and likewise, some patients are faster healers compared with others. Shephard's goal with his new website is to explain what patients can expect when faced with a variety of injuries, as well as how to prevent these injuries in the first place.
