Dixon Insurance Introduces a New Charity Campaign in Saginaw, TX to Raise Funds for Local Mother Battling Cancer

The latest initiative supports Samantha Welsh, a young wife and mother of three who is battling uterine cancer. Samantha Welsh, a staff member at Dixon Insurance’s Saginaw location, was diagnosed with uterine cancer shortly after giving birth to her third child last year. Uterine cancer is the fourth most common cancer among women in the U.S., and it’s incidence is on the rise, with approximately 55,000 new cases reported in 2015. Sam will be undergoing her second round of chemotherapy and hormone replacement in just a couple of weeks, and is well on the road to recovery. However, ongoing medical expenses have stressed the young family’s finances and they are in need of assistance.
Lori Dixon, the agency’s owner, attested, “Being able to help one of our own is a true pleasure for us.
