New Salimetrics Technology Center Opens in Carlsbad, California
Carlsbad, California (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- Building on its key initiative to encourage greater collaboration between the Company’s world-class salivary assay teams and research scientists, Salimetrics has opened its new Technology Center located in Carlsbad, California. The Technology Center will accelerate the development of high sensitivity assays designed specifically for saliva. According to Douglas A Granger, Ph.D, “New and novel assays will soon drive the field of salivary bioscience and will lead to a broader set of translational research and acceptance of saliva as a diagnostic fluid by the clinical community.”
Plans for “Salimetrics Carlsbad” include an R&D facility, a full service salivary testing lab, and a highly qualified customer service and technical support team. “Supporting cutting edge research studies requires Salimetrics to be at the cutting edge of customer service. Extreme customer service has always been a core theme at Salimetrics and integral to expanding the reach of salivary bioscience,” says Hans Schroeder, Salimetrics CEO.
What exactly is Salimetrics extreme customer service? “It is about learning and sharing the tools and techniques that others have used successfully, and in doing so, we are best equipped to support the growth of Salivary Bioscience research”, says Hans. “We don’t believe in “self-service” research. We believe in better collection, better assays, better results and better science.”
Salimetrics is also working on a web-based platform to deliver outcome-driven customer service that allows researchers to customize projects of any size to fit their collection and testing needs as well as budget. This new system will also provide various technologies to reach customer service, allowing customers to utilize their own technology preferences.
