I’m humbled by this award and grateful for the tremendous field and office staff we have at BrightStar Care Salt Lake City. While we have accomplished a lot, there is more work to do.
SALT LAKE CITY (PRWEB) March 22, 2019
BrightStar Care Salt Lake City announced today that its Director of Nursing, Deborah Parker, was awarded the Nurse of the Year for the West Region in the BrightStar Care network. The Nurse of the Year award results from hundreds of nominations that pour in from clients, referral sources, and owners for review by a team of judges. In a rigorous selection process, one finalist is selected for each of the four geographic regions across the entire BrightStar Care network of over 300 agencies across the United States. Ms. Parker was selected as one of those four finalists, representing the West region.
“The Nurse of the Year award is the highest honor a nurse can receive from BrightStar Care and recognizes the nurses who demonstrate the highest level of clinical excellence and compassion for our clients and employees,” said Tammara Brown, Owner of BrightStar Care Salt Lake City. “We couldn’t be happier for Deborah and are so glad that she’s being formally recognized for what we knew all along – she is fantastic.”
Ms. Parker was nominated due to her outstanding accomplishments in 2018 including passing of the Joint Commission re-certification survey with flying colors resulting in a BrightStar Care award for clinical excellence; and the second year in a row for Leader in Excellence, Provider of Choice, and Employer of Choice awards from Home Care Pulse. These, plus many other accomplishments, are a direct reflection of the culture that Ms. Parker fosters with our field staff.
“I’m humbled by this award and grateful for the tremendous field and office staff we have at BrightStar Care Salt Lake City. While we have accomplished a lot, there is more work to do,” said Ms. Parker.
Ms. Parker along with the other three regional Nurse of the Year finalists will be honored at BrightStar Care’s annual Branch Leadership Conference in April 2019 and the national winner will be selected.
