The Miller Agency Joins Plans First Coast Charity Event to Benefit Local Chapter of the Salvation Army Family of Charities

The Miller Agency, a locally owned and operated insurance and financial planning provider that serves clients throughout the greater Jacksonville region, is inaugurating a charity drive to help raise support and donations for the regional chapter of the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army of Atlantic Beach works to meet the needs of families in the First Coast region by working with group homes and emergency shelters within the local community. This holiday season, Salvation Army of Atlantic Beach will be providing clothing and toy drives for children, as well as a series of Christmas dinners for low income families in the area.

“The Salvation Army is one of the most widely recognized charitable organizations in the world, and we’re proud to be working with them to help make the holidays a little brighter for the families in our community,” says William Miller, owner and acting manager of the Miller Agency.

Miller and his team are working to connect with local civic leaders and business owners over social media and email networks in an effort to gather support for the Salvation Army of Atlantic Beach charity event. Earlier this year, the Miller Agency became one of the newest affiliates of “Agents of Change,” a nationwide charity support network. As part of their ongoing membership in this group, the Miller team plans to find and assist a new charitable organization in the First Coast region every sixty days.
