Sam Boak, President of The Builders Association, shares his excitement about the association’s new building as the facility takes shape. Boak & Sons and other local contracting companies are working together to construct a building that shows the quality of labor in the area.

“Let’s do something that represents us and the whole industry of the Valley and the best way to do that was to build this type of facility,” Sam Boak said of the new building.

Sam Boak has been heavily involved in the construction of the new office building for The Builders Association. Located in Vienna, Ohio, Boak is often found on the job site and has been enjoying seeing the vision for the new facility come to fruition. When completed, the building will be 4,000+ square feet with an architectural mix of large windows, metal paneling and brick. Inside, there will be open space, conference rooms, and more.

The previous facility building was over 40 years old. Since the building’s initial construction, the industry has grown and changed and Sam Boak and members knew it was time for an updated facility that reflected advancements in products, design and installation. The Builders provide members with resources so crews within the industry can perform the highest quality work for their clientele. The finished product will feature capabilities of 15 skilled trades that Association Members service.

“Let’s do something that represents us and the whole industry of the Valley and the best way to do that was to build this type of facility,” Sam Boak said of the new building. “The architectural design is beautiful and we are very happy with the progress we have made.”

Completion of the new facility is two months ahead of schedule. Initially set to be complete at the end of June 2019, construction is now estimated to be finished by the end of April. With skilled local contractors on the job and great weather, they have been able to make a lot of progress and shorten the timeline.

Boak & Sons, Inc. installed the roof and insulated the building. The will also be constructing and installing the metal siding panels on the exterior of the facility. The new structure shows off the quality of work the Builders Association contractors are capable of in Eastern Ohio and Western PA.

“This is something we are incredibly proud of,” Sam Boak says. “We gave the building a modern look that will be able to withstand the test of time in the industry.” Many industry professionals are working together on this project and are all members of the organization.
